I was born in Switzerland and spent my childhood in Milan. I began painting at the age of 11. I started with quite detailed and representative paintings and drawings, transitioned to a phase of quick, almost instinctive form of art with spray paint and acrylics, and moved onto more symbolistic art. My most recent activity involves graphic design, something that I started when designing iPhone and iPod games a couple of years ago, and has now become a more professional hobby. I'm currently attending my last year of undergraduate at the University of Manchester, where I study Geography BSc (Hons) in the hopes of becoming an environmental researcher. In a funny way, my interests have gone from architecture, to biology, to graphic design, to this. I'd say I've done a lot of changing since I was 11! However, I've found my balance within my interests: volunteering with environmental organisations such as the Woodland Trust (www.woodlandtrust.org.uk/authors/dael-sassoon/) in the UK and the National Research Council in Italy while working as Lead Graphic Designer at Alitica (www.alitica.com), an analytics startup for the restaurant industry.
